     When Megan and I were in love with each other, she used to look askance at the way I built gin and tonics:  gin and tonic, of course, but also a shot of fresh lime juice and a bruised sprig of mint.  I began making them this way when I was an undergraduate student, working as a part-time bartender at the Turf Lounge--a run-down-at-the-heels-

I think they're especially yummy in hot summer months. But both Gin and Tonic Water have unique flavors, so some people don't care for them.
