     Weather cleared off nicely yesterday afternoon.  Sunny and warm, then a clear, comfortable evening.  About a dozen friends and family here for food, fun, fireworks--LOTS of them.  I pooped out about 11 and went to bed.  Rest of the roisterers sat out and chatted until quite late, I think

Okay, so I was looking to see if you had a Facebook, and while I couldn't find one, I somehow got linked to some "rate my professor" site. So I was reading it, and the comments were overall great. But I was seriously wondering if some of those people were talking about the same Dr. C I had! And then I remembered how entitled I was as an undergraduate student, and I think now I realize why my husband thought I was useless the first time he met me. (That was back when I knew everything.) :)

I do have a facebook; I'll look for yours and try to friend you. I haven't looked at the rate your professor site for a while, so I'm not sure what comments surprised you. But I usually try to take them with a grain of salt, even though I DO pay attention to what students think about my classes.
