Sorry for the less than cheery post, but I have to get this off my mind.

My mom called me last week. It was pretty awful. It started with a call to tell me she changed her phone number, which I didn't think much of because she moved recently. Then she called back to insist that I not give her number to anyone and I asked her if everything was ( Read more... )

no offense, she's psycho and brings you down. not real healthy to stay in contact with her

I'm sorry that you have to go through this. It sounds like you are really torn. You have done your best to keep your space from her, but you feel obligated to help her (if she needs it) as her daughter. I hope that you are able to come to what you feel is the right solution.
