THAT'S WHY I LOVED IT. THANK YOU FOR POINTING ALL OF THAT OUT. OMG, he really was snippy, wasn't he? His pride is going to take QUITE a hit when he discovers that the majority of his "accomplishments" were all because of Merlin (which is why I loved this episode so much -- yes, Merlin and Gwaine helped him, but he dealt with the majority of the obstacles on his own).
I don't want it either, but I'm concerned that since Arthur and Gwen are in such a happy place that the writers will try to bring the drama. If they're addressing their number one obstacle in THIS series...yeah, I'm concerned.

THIS is why I'm concerned, but then a friend putted out that A/G still have a lot to go through before they get together offically. I mean in the eyes of everyone Gwen is still a servant and Arthur still has to unite all of Albion. Gwen also has a lot to go before she becomes Queen of Camelot. I'm hoping that they ressolve the whole traingle by the end of series 4 or 5. They have to.
Lol, this makes me think of Uther's line "What matters is what we feel, that's what's important, not what the people think." Which shows just how un-father/daughterly that line was
At first I was kind of disappointed on how short that a/G scene was and the fact that you couldn't really see it, then I realise that it means that "they a thing" which is great and means that storyline is developing. And Gwen's face at the end was JUST ADORABLE!!!
Seeing as I didn't think they'd be "together" until S4 at the earliest, however, I do wonder if a break up is coming up for them next series. Some sort of huge misunderstanding and Gwen starts seeing Lancelot (assuming he didn't just show up once every series), and then it'd lead up to the Arthur/Gwen reunion at the end of S4...idk, idk. I just don't see the writers letting them be this happy and worry-free,...This is something i'm worrying about a lot lately (especially after all the spoilers that you put under spoiler code). After reading Bradley's response to the recent interview about A/G and Lancelot its got me worried that they will stuff up A/G

Q: What do you think will be the evolution of Guinevere/Arthur relationship and what would happen if Lancelot come [came] back?
Answer: Umm...Well I think, I think with Lancelot and Guinevere..I think, I think we know where it's going to end up. [I'll assume he means it will end up no where!] And...um...I think it's just a case of being...sort of strung along. While...While, Uther's around it's going to be very difficult...um...for anything to happen. So it's..you know, and also the fact that there is Lancelot in the situation as well. So, it presents a bit of an obstacle. So...um...yeah...Myself..have some...bit of a...I have no idea myself as to how we're going to...you know...get the characters to...you know to the point to that we're really familiar with.
Hmm, it sounds like he's saying that at this point it'll be difficult to reach the point in/set up the part of legends with which everyone is familiar (i.e., Guinevere and Lancelot betraying Arthur by having an affair), though that could very well by my shipper goggles.
MERLIN/GWEN. MERLIN/GWAINE. CLEARLY MERLIN SHOULD ALWAYS JUST DATE PEOPLE WHOSE NAMES START WITH G. =DDDD
And the kiss! I had very similar feelings to you first I was like why so short? =( and then I was like oh. oh it's a casual goodbye kiss, they probably do this kind of thing all the time! =DDDDD
I am actually a bit over Arthur proves himself in useless quest/melee 57 plot. Idk, I want to see him prove himself in ways that matter. Like I think 1.10 was a much better example of that because he was going out and helping the people. That's what it takes to be a king. Cobwebbed tridents not so much. I know Arthur's a good knight and fighter! I want to see him be a good KING.

Oh, no, I thought the point of this trip was stupid (on Arthur's part), but I loved seeing him actually save himself WITHOUT Merlin. He's supposed to be the best knight in the land. It was nice seeing that for once.
At the very end, yes, but he killed both the bandits, managed to escape the...whatever swamp thing that was, and managed to semi-escape the dragons. =)
So I finally finished the epp...I closed the window and reopened it and it began to run normally...*facepalm* Oh well...
The quest was interesting, but every time they switched to Arthur/Gwaine/Merlin I was just DYING for them to return to Gwen and Morgana.
Same here, I mean tbh I found the whole quest thing to be rather boring (hence stopping it for a minute that turned into like 3 hours, lol), though Gwaine was awesome and hawt and charming and so clearly in love with Merlin omggg and a joy to watch! I need gifs of him and all his expressions, especially in reaction to Arthur! :D His face was all, "Really, Merlin, you keep following this guy? I am so much better, I'd treat you right and we'd have so much fun!" Oh and the Fisher King scene was interesting as well, yay for "Once and Future King" ref! There really isn't enough reference to the legend anymore, it makes me sad...
But yeah, the G/M stuff was most interesting, although it still makes me mad, and Morgana has actually become annoying...:( Damn writers.
LOL, yes. When I say series I mean "season," and when I say "show" I mean the American idea of a "series." Since they call a season a "series" in Britain I tend to adopt that language whenever I talk about British shows...though it gets confusing. XD But yes, continuity from ep to ep in S3. =)
Morgana was actually the next person to come to mind! I thought Gwen, then Morgana, then Gwen again, and then, "OOOOOOOH. ALBION. RIIIIIGHT." In, like, the span of three seconds. XD
