Damn I hate snow. We've got probably 2 feet in our driveway and I have yet to see a plow. There goes the $230 I spent on Devils tickets for today's game. I listed them on the ticket exchange but considering the blizzard I bet a lot of people aren't going. It sucks. This was the only game I had bought tickets for this season. Woooo just registered for my first 50k trail race! It's part of the Dirty German endurance fest in/around Philly on Memorial Day weekend. It seems like a good race for a first-time ultra runner, the trail doesn't seem too difficult. And there's stuff to do in Philly, unlike the race I was considering in the backwoods of New Jersey. Last 5k of the year, finished with a new personal best of 22:59. I'm pretty sure my legs were frozen for the first mile. I wanted to finish under 23 minutes and I just made it. Finished 2nd in the female 19-29 division and got a bobblehead Santa trophy. My first running trophy! Going to spend the rest of this frigid day inside watching The Walking -

Cannot stop listening to the new One Direction album. Seriously, what is my life? I'm such a sucker for a good boy band. Especially when almost all the songs are good. Ran another 5k this past weekend, finished in 23:12, one second faster than a few weeks ago. At least I'm consistent! But definitely getting faster, I finished 88th out of over 900 runners. I've got another 5k in a few weeks, hoping to finish in under 23 minutes ( Read more... ) -

We just recovered from a hurricane and now there's a snowstorm going. There's probably 5 inches on the ground already. The weather channel this morning predicted rain! ARGH. -
Yay running, ow my legs
Third marathon complete! Best yet, set a PR and broke that 4 hour mark. I finished in 3:53:51 and according to the website 218 out of 994 women. Yay me! It was so damn cold this morning, it took 2 miles for me to get feeling back in my toes and my hands were frozen almost the entire race. I'm such a disaster
Yo Monday! I've got a cold and just tripped over a raised manhole cover and fell on my face crossing 43rd St. And my marathon is 2 weeks away! Joy. Can I just go home now?
