Early present :(
Yes, not my idea of a suitable seasonal gift, got cellulitis in my leg again, ick. Felt so ill & shivery & sweaty on Wednesday night I thought it was flu until my leg came up bright red, hot & shiny next day! Kitchen Chemistry
The new FutureLearn course started this week, just done this weeks, well, they emailed a list of supplies to do the experiments and I quietly watched videos and looked at the images of the experiments being done, I suspect the toaster hot air balloon one would end in disaster, but I'll do the teabag one tomorrow ( Read more... ) -

Coding Course Complete
Yay, final part of the final week of the Android course on FutureLearn is done, it finished with a 3 part test and I actually did quite well - first part was a basic knowledge of concepts for which I got 96%, second part had that nasty maths stuff and some simple programs to work though and I scored lower, 83% and the last part was a mixed bag ( Read more... ) -

Well here we are in week 6 of the android programming course, which is actually Java that just happens to also run on an android phone. Fun with Coding
Well apart from my birthday last week - I am now the answer to life, the universe and everything, i.e 42 (though I could argue this has always been the case... :) ) - the big event was starting the nifty FutureLearn android programming course. Shiny new 'puter, whee!
Hah! I actually have/had a good reason for not being on lj, over and beyond being a bit rubbish at keeping up (and ignoring the fact I can read it on my phone or tablet, but never remember to do so..). Yes, sad to say my old PC finally bit the dust with a rather dramatic bang. Eep! Didn't hold out much hope the poor 12 year old machine was fixable ( Read more... )
