No, I've noticed that LJ itself randomly drops people from various LJs because I've been "unfriended" and then discovered that the person never actually removed me.

Just another stupid LJ glitch.

It doesn't normally bother me, the whole friending/unfriending thing, but it was just a bit of a jolt to see that name there. *shrugs*

I'm in a bit of a hinky mood, with all the depressing news I am getting, I guess. I'm still waiting for number three (which is never of the good)

Yeah, being "unfriended" by the deceased would give you a jolt. Which is why LJ really needs to fix that problem, I had someone very upset with me for "unfriending" them when I never did anything and would never unfriend them. In fact, I've never dropped anyone unless they deleted their own LJs.
