Hello Winnipeg

I took a bus from Montreal to Hawksbury, and hitched from there along Highway 7. There are lots of small towns up there, and I got picked up by a few interesting people. One older guy picked me up and his truck cab was filled with dream catchers and medicine wheels that he made himself. He is white, but a native activist, and he collects road kill ( Read more... )

P.S. There is a really windy intersection in Winnipeg that Ebony showed me. I think she said that it's one of the windiest intersections in Canada. No matter what time of the day it is or what kind of weather is going on, when you go there you get incredible gusts of wind. I thought it was exciting... if you do too, you should get Ebony to show it to you.
