California Dreamin'
The Oregon coast was stunning. Jutting rocks, rolling surf... we paid to see the sea-lion cave without any sea-lions in it, but it was totally worth it. It is the largest sea cave on the coast, and one of the stops on my parents' honeymoon 26 years ago ( Read more... ) -

I've spent some wonderful days in Winnipeg... yesterday I wandered around with Ebony's mom and she took me into the Legislature Building and to The Forks, the downtown Market, and pretty much to see what there is to see here... it was nice. I took a bus from Montreal to Hawksbury, and hitched from there along Highway 7. There are lots of small towns up there, and I got picked up by a few interesting people. One older guy picked me up and his truck cab was filled with dream catchers and medicine wheels that he made himself. He is white, but a native activist, and he collects road kill ( Read more... ) -

Yesterday I spent the afternoon wandering around Downtown Montreal. I took 2 hours and made my way delightedly through the museum of contemporary art, and I walked up and down St. Catherine`s street and had Poutine and took pictures of graffiti ( Read more... ) -
