I sometimes have a hard time doubting that there's not someone else pursuing you with greater success than I'm having.

I'm in a constant fluctuating state of light and dark
(very light, and very dark)

And it sometimes seems they even exist at the same time, but only because I switch back and forth between them so much.

I have so much love, and so much selfishness. I'd rather have the first, only and not the other.

It shoulda been me up there.

I've learned lately why sometimes, people don't marry the person they're in love with, or why they just let that person slip away ( Read more... )

There are a lot of times these days where I think, despite my best efforts and best expectations, I really am getting over the pursuit, and that we're just friends, and I'm actually fine with that, forever.

Then, it just hits me that I've never been more in love in my entire life, and it hits so hard.
