GENERAL QUESTIONS
Your Name?: Isabelle
Age?: 18
Gender?: Female
Location?: Melbourne, Australia
Horoscope?: Scorpio
Likes?: friends, boyfriend, music, film, literature, animals
Dislikes?: ignorance, arrogance, boring people
Hobbies?: I love singing. I've been taking lessons for a few years now and it's my absolute favourite activity. I guess other than that, I don't really have many hobbies..
Favourite quote/saying/lyric?: 'Not all those who wander are lost' - J.R.R Tolkien, because it's a nice thing to remember when you're feeling lost
What are your strengths?: I'm passionate about what I believe in and will stand my ground, I'm always loyal to those close to me, and I'm fairly smart
What are your weaknesses?: I can be too forgiving towards those who've wronged me and I can sometimes be somewhat stubborn
What do you like best about yourself?: I'm not very judgemental. Alright if someone gives me reason to dislike them, I will, but I tend not to judge a book by its cover
What are your goals or aims in life?: Well I'm currently studying a music business course so a definite goal of mine is to start a career in the music industry, possibly as a publisher, at some time. I can't say this defines my goals or aims at all, though, it's just a hope for the future, but one that I'm gradually working towards. More than anything I want to get married, have a family, live comfortably and be happy in life. That's my main aim I'd say :)
PERSONAL QUESTIONS
Which character from Harry Potter, DISCLUDING the obvious answer of Harry, would you say you most admire and why?: Lily Potter. She sacrificed her life for her son... that's sheer bravery and she ought to be admired for that.
Which Hogwarts subjects would you be best and worst at - or otherwise like and dislike most?: Hhm.. well I always thought of Potions as a sort of science-y subject, and I hated those in high school so I don't think I'd enjoy that very much. Or herbology either because I don't particularly like working outdoors. So maybe something like charms and transfiguration, I'd be happy with those. I also think I'd be good at Defence Against the Dark Arts because of its serious nature.
Which house would you WANT to be in, or which do you have most respect for and why?: I have respect for Gryffindor because they're headstrong and fight for what they believe in, and I have some respect for Slytherin also, for the same reason... even though I don't agree with their ideals and would probably dislike them for it if I actually was a part of the Potter world.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?: I can be too forgiving and trusting and its led me astray before... I'd like to change that I guess
If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?: Hhm that's a tough one. End poverty, perhaps? So many things need to be changed, it's hard! I'll go with the poverty one, though...
How much use would magic have in your current everyday life?: Oh I'd use it to do stuff that normally takes longer without magic, like cleaning, cooking, etc. Other than that, I don't think I'd use it much.... in different circumstances such as if there was a war, I'd use it to defend myself for sure.
If you had one day left to live, what would you do?: Spend it entirely with my friends, family and boyfriend doing whatever I felt like at the time. I'd miss them the most, so what better way to spend my last day? I may also try to sneak in a few 'words of wisdom' to each of them, so they know I love them and want them to be happy.
Tell us three random things about yourself: I'm not a very good student in the sense that I don't work very hard at school/uni but I always get good results anyway, my favourite novel is Wuthering Heights, and I lived in Greece until I was 10 years old.

SITUATIONAL / IN-STORY QUESTIONS
Would you hex someone who was bothering you there and then?: No, I don't think so. I couldn't bring myself to do that just because someone was bothering me... that's pretty mean.
What do you see in the Mirror of Erised?: Me, grown up, with a happy family and (not sure how this would be portrayed) a successful career :)
What special wizarding power - i.e. Animagi, Metamorphagi, being a Seer - would you want to have?: Animagi! I adore animals so it would be interesting to see things from their point of view. And me and my dog might get along even better than we do now :)
In what situation would you use an Unforgiveable curse?: I really wouldn't. I don't believe in causing pain or controlling someone and I certainly don't believe in killing someone else. But if this question absolutely must be answered (I'm not sure if it does) I think I'll have to say that I would use it in self defence or in defence of somebody I loved.
Be honest - if you were in the wizarding community, what view would you take on blood heritage? (If you don't know, perhaps put your current views of class and the like into context): All blood would be the same to me. That's what my current views of the world are now, I don't see why being in the wizarding world would force me to have a radical change of opinion. It's just ridiculous to discriminate against somebody based on anything, whether it be their blood, race, sex, class, etc.
Imagine the Death Eaters come to your house, you being the head of an average wizarding family. They say join them, or otherwise give them ONE member of the family. What do you choose to do? What action perhaps would you take after making this decision? I would fight them and try to apparate myself and my family out of there!
Colin Creevey has been following you around all day, trying to get you to teach him a new secret spell he saw you do that he thought was cool. What do you do?: Explain to him that I can't. And when he keeps bugging me I'll just continue repeating myself... if it gets too much I'd probably start trying to avoid him.
Would you rather be attacking up close and personal, hiding far off using a type of long range attacks, or not on the battle field at all?: Up close and personal for sure
FINAL QUESTIONS
If you could become any character from the series for one day - 24 hours - who would it be?: Dumbledore. I'd like to see what it would be like to be so wise, and see the world the way he must. He also has a Pensieve which I'd love to dive into as I'm sure it's filled with tonnes of fascinating memories.
If you were given the chance to permanently become part of the HP-verse (as "yourself"), would you take it?: Yes but, can I take my loved ones with me?
