omg, looks like we're entering the "first-time-home-buyers" category! no, no down-payment YET...but we put something down to hold the place for us. there's still time to back out. we have to see how our wedding goes - which is in friggin' 2 weeks! shitballs.

so is the down payment next? did you get qualified for a loan before you put down to hold the house, or is that part of the process? I'm clueless when it comes to house buying stuff, but i'm curious.

well, in this case, i believe we got pre-qualified for the loan when we got qualified to be on the wait-list. we had to make no more than a certain amount of money a year in order to be considered for this project.

the wedding is in a week! things are going pretty well...eek. just finalizing things...
