First off, sorry I was lame and didn't get around to reading this earlier. But, as it turns out, you didn't need me at all anyway, because this is so. fucking. good ( ... )

It's alright, I knew you were busy. And not to toot her horn, but Jules managed to sort out any conundrums I had. She really was absolutely brilliant so I was very fortunate. Plus it meant you were completely unspoilt for the end, which I'm pleased about ( ... )

Oh man, this was brave, dude, and you've pulled it off brilliantly. There were parts where I felt like I couldn't breathe. Really intense stuff, and fantasically written, of course.

I always get the urge to write bizarre/rare pairings. I think I'm ~scared~ of writing Naomily or another pairing I really am invested in. I'm going to try and rectify that by completing a Emily/Naomi/Tea fic. I mean, ok, and it'll be completely smutty, but also there will be a lot of deconstuction of of the characters ~feelings~. Because that is what we do. Although you already know this, because according to craxxfox, you are like, the number lesbian on lj or something. Kudos to you for that ;)

Also I think Tea's a massive douche bag. But that won't stop me from writing it. Naomi and Emily just want to mix things up, you know?

All jokes aside, if this story affected you so much I am truly touched. These two have such a fraught, intense dynamic on the show and if I could recreate that even in part I am very pleased. If it was intense, then that just means I managed to achieved what I set out to do. Yay!

I'm SO happy you liked it. I've read all your stories so I'm always chuffed when another writer likes my work. I know a lot of people are saying how difficult Freddie/Cook are difficult to pull off, but in a lot of ways they are the easiest slash pairing to convincingly write about. They have such a fraught, tension riddled relationship strewn with incessant "I love yous", and really, when you combine that all together it all just adds up to gay in my opinion ;). Authors have to work very hard to make any other gay relationship feel natural to me. I honestly think Keffy is one the hardest pairings to write about and I personally think it’s rare for a writer to adequately address all the myriad of reasons why Keffy WOULDN’T WORK. Writing for Frook is simple in comparison ( ... )

Well, your characterization of Cook was flawless. From the Cookisms to him burping and then rubbing his stomach, you've done all Cook stans proud.

As for the story, oh my God. Where has this been all my life? Why couldn't the "professional" Skins writers have written something just half as good as this for Cook and Freddie in the novel/S4? My hat is off to you.

Man, see, I'm so happy with ardent fans of a character like what I've written. I know whenever I read a story with Emily in it I'm very critical if she isn't written right. So, yeah, the fact that you like Cook in this makes me so happy, you have no idea.

The skins writers created such awesome character then forgot to do their jobs in the latter half of season four. Fuckers. I don't know though, if I worked for Skins I'd probably get fired for making fun of JB's beard.

I know you're a C/E fan...I have a skins rec for you. It's my favorite C/E I've ever read and it's...way better than anything I've written. Not even gonna lie. When you've got half an hour read it Chey-cakes, you won't regret it

Thanks babes! I'm so glad you liked it.

Oh my God, this fic you rec'd. I don't think I have the words to describe how much it's doing it for me. I'm a sucker for good writing, Cook, and anything even slightly reminiscent of Blade Runner, so. All of my school work and social plans for this weekend have fallen by the wayside, that's for sure.

I'M SO THRILLED YOU LIKE IT. I have a real passion for dystopian novels so imagine how hard I fandom camed when I was reading a well written, dystopian fic with my favorite characters from my favorite show. It's seriously my favorite fic in fandom but has recieved like, nine comments. NINE. So I'm pimping it out like my life depended on it. SPREAD THE WORD, CHEY. LET'S MAKE THIS STORY POPULAR!

(also, comment at the end, mostly so she knows people are still reading it. She's planning to an Emily follow up and maybe some more stuff along with that. SO I'm trying to give her as much encouragment as possible because I think if this writer wrote something from Emily's pov it would be the best thing ever for Emily stans everywhere).
