Vacation was great! The girls loved the beach and it was a very relaxing week. Since receiving an art easel from Santa at Christmas my girls - especially Lexi - have been art making fools. My favorite snob quote from Lex is "mom, I'm making art," I so picture her in a glass/metal workshop in overalls one day ( Read more... ) -

Sweet moment brought back my Christmas spirit
I'll never get the world caught up with the last few months of my life so I'm not even going to try. For the most part it has been busy, quick and good with the family (at least the family under my roof). There has also been some blah/bad stuff but rather move on from it all ( Read more... ) -
Who do I want to be when I grow up?
Lately things have slowed down a bit - Brad probably would disagree - and I find myself with more idle time and trying to figure out what the heck is next? I enjoy my job and I enjoy the people I work with but this isn't a career for me. None of the jobs in academia have been for me, though I do enjoy working in this environment ( Read more... )
