-we arranged the only motion-detecting...thing we had in the house so that it'd go off whenever the cats jumped up on the kitchen counter and tried to eat my cactuses...

...there's something really amusing about ash yelling "you see this?! this is my boomstick!" whenever they jump up there.

-oh yeah...ash is a bit sensitive, so he's going off like crazy whenever anyone's in there. we've only been having him on when we're out or in bed (as otherwise, we can deal with them the old-fashioned way...by screaming at them), but he runs every time he hears him go off.

-except these don't really have thorns, really...they've already killed those. one is white and fluffy, like a cotton ball, and the other is "the succulent that will not die"...i've had it since at least the uptown apt...maybe even the gentilly one.

My mom's cats just destroyed a plant this morning, I think I should invest in some of those. ;)

-heh, i'm using the 18" ash with motion-activated sound from the movie maniacs series 4 of macfarlane toys. i think i also have a godzilla somewhere with motion-activated sound, but i seem to remember that one being a little wonky. now that i think of it, i also have an eevee... i could be mean and just set them up randomly in the house, yar!
