See, men like that genuinely scare the shit out of me. All too often, they turn the George Sodinis and Marc Lepines of the world. I've seen it happen to men I've known and cared about, and it's truly frightening. If you think anything I've said may do that guy you know some good (if you're still in contact with him), then feel free to ctrl+V it to him (just don't link my name or anything, please >_>).

As for the original recipient, he wrote a letter back this morning that was not angry in any way (was actually GRATEFUL - go fig), so once I formulate a response I'll post an update.

i think the guy is sadly a lost cause. he hasnt spoken to me since last november. a friend of mine was reading me his aim status about a month ago ('do women go to hell or do they just not have souls') and she told him maybe he'd have a girlfriend if he did put himself out there as a woman hating jerk. he wouldnt even make eye contact at meijer after that. he's just the kind of person who puts 0 effort into all his personal relationships, but blames the world when they fail.
