I've heard other friends say Cloverfield was great. I'm inclined to believe you as the commercials look dumb. Did you see There Will Be Blood? A lot of people loved that and I thought it was pretty boring.

hah, yeah...sad, i think it's one of those films that people will say is "awesome" just because their friends all think that way. i guess cuz it is supposed to be so "different", meaning only "cool" people get it and like it...but there is nothing different at all about it. it's just bad ( ... )

Oh, yes! I definitely liked No Country for Old Men! It took me a couple days to sort through it in my mind, but I decided that it was totally good. Javier Bardem had better win an Oscar.

The very last scene of There Will Be Blood is really amazing and so intense. It just made me wish the rest of the movie was like that! And it made me wish that I was watching No Country again instead.

Man, I haven't watched any new tv in a while. Plus, I don't have cable! I will check out these shows online. I've been all about Veronica Mars lately. I wish I had watched more of it when it was actually on the air.

So my friend calls me a couple days back and asks me if i want to see a movie. We usually just hit the antique car shows around here, so this was different.
