I'm sooooooo happy I've never had cramps because it sounds like the more horrific experience and I've seen my friend and sister go through it. I felt so bad for them. I've heard exercise and/or chocolate can help.

Hope you feel better sweetie!

Urgh. That's sooooo not fair? No cramps? Ever?! Lucky you. Besides, childbirth, cramps are really the only bad thing about being a woman. Can't complain otherwise.

I've heard exercise helps too. My lower stomach felt like it was ripping itself out. I couldn't sit still. Breathing was hard even. I'm fine now though. But the first like 24 hours of my period are hell.

As for chocolate there's I guess no real reason why women crave it while PMsing. From what I've read anyway. I don't really crave chocolate on my period. But I know I tend to eat more sweet stuff. That's bad. I see something sweet and I just have to have it.

Anyway... feeling better now thanks. I'll be even better when it's over. At least I won't be on it during Christmas. That would really suck.

Well I went on the pill shortly after my period started, but I was lucky. My mother never really had cramps either. She got back aches sometimes, but not cramps. My sister ended up with endometriosis(sp?) and had to have an operation. Who knows... I'm not complaining though lol!

Funny thing is I'm going through it right now as well so I can say - I UNDERSTAND how you're feeling. In theory, tocolytics such as salbutamol (stuff they give asthmatic patients) might help though no one has actually advocated it in dysmenorrhea.

Yay! We can suffer together. LMAO.

I'm better now though. I only have pain for like the first 24 hours of my period. After... I'm fine. Well, as fine as you can be while on your period. I always have the trouble of nothing feels like it fits right or whatever. So I'll go through like three different outfits. Sucks.

Then there's the moodiness and sugar cravings... men have no idea how easy they have it.
