People just get dumb, after a while, as far as I can figure. They make stupid decisions because they're bored/lazy/addicted to something or the other. It changes them, and they won't listen to anyone that tries to point it out. Either that, or the relationship (plutonic or otherwise) was doomed from the beginning.
It's kinda dumb, either way. I know quite a few of my friends that refuse to talk to me, simply because they assume I hate them or am at odds with them, the funny thing being, if I trust someone, I always trust them forever, and can probably understand if they make some sort of mistake. If I don't trust someone, I'll trust them at that same level, probably for the rest of my life. There's a few exceptions, obviously, but this having been said, my friends have and always will be my friends. So it sucks when people are dumb and think I hate them for no reason, or don't hang around them so they're no longer my friend.
