You are supposed to be like, one of the most important and reputable newspapers in America. Now I'm not one of those crazies who thinks NYC isn't part of America, but goddamn it, maybe you should get writers that leave Manhattan once in awhile ( Read more... )

Hahaha. Oh my that's awful. Funny enough, the topic of how cooking shows have changed from teaching you too cook to showing competition and eating is interesting. But its wrapped up in way to much drivel.

As Eric said, their lifestyle section is insane. I once read an article in which people "cut down" by spending three hundred dollars on a home cooked Valentine's Day dinner.

They've only recently seemed to realize that the recession is making people homeless instead of only making them wear last year's Birkenstocks.

Best hard world and national news in the country, which is in itself kind of sad. The rest of the paper... yech.

I don't even know how to spend $300 dollars on one home-cooked dinner unless my grocery list is including really expensive booze.
