Yeah, my one big criticism of the concession was that it seemed he was congratulating Obama on being BLACK and winning. But otherwise, it was actually a very nice speech and it restored a little of my faith in the man. After one of the slimiest campaigns ever, at least he ended it on a relatively dignified note.

Sad, because I actually liked McCain, especially back when he was more liberal. And I understand that he had to run on a more conservative platform or else the Republicans wouldn't have given him the nomination, but by the end he had pretty much abandoned all of his former standards and become an ass. I'm sure most of his campaign strats came from his staff, but it's not like he had to listen. I would have dumped half those asswads months and months ago.

And Palin-- that man probably regrets nothing more in his life than choosing that ignoramus. I hope they all throw her under the buss.

Does that mean that republicans will be thumping their chests about the evils of discriminatory marriage laws in 2160?
