It's been very, very quiet around here. I didn't think my move to tumblr would end up being so all-encompassing, but it has been - not because I prefer tumblr as a fannish platform to LJ (I still don't!) but because some of the people I interact with on tumblr have also become real-life, close friends

When I go onto tumblr, I feel like I'm at the laundromat or the grocery store -- I should, and it's not entirely unpleasant, but I don't like to do it if I can avoid it, and I'm glad when it's over.
Words. I like words. With the occasional picture.

SO MUCH BETTER. Suppose that'll be part of the life update post I'll be doing at some point, but MY GOD. Now that I'm free of it I can hardly comprehend that I lasted even two years. I mean, I'm unemployed now, so it's not ideal, but I'm so much happier, I can't tell you.
