on friday i ate at real food daily avec adizzi. it is an all-vegan restaurant. i love going to a place where i can order everything on the menu, except it is *so* hard to decide what to eat. it was delicious and i am now on a quest to eat all the tempeh reuben sandwiches offered in north america. then we drew pictures and discussed california's bad ( Read more... )

i get totally overwhelmed by menus at vegetarian/vegan spots. so weird to only have two or three things to choose between, then suddenly you can have everything! it makes me a little panicky, honestly./

i didn't think it was possible to have a bad donut until i went to amsterdam. we got a box of them because they looked good, but they tasted like styrofoam and had this hardened chocolate "frosting" that came off when you bit into them. i'm usually not that picky when it comes to junkfood, but....yeech! we had to throw them away.

actually, i rarely eat donuts at all anymore since my girlfriend is a health nut.

oh, and yay vegetarianism!

if i leave my house and walk in any direction for 5 minutes, i will run into a donut store. they are so tempting...the donuts look good but now that i know that donuts can be bad, i'm kinda scared to get the chocolate-frosted ones!

donuts in moderation are awesome. i appreciate them so much now that i have one every 3 months or so.

Good to know you had a good time and are settling in.

Don't mind the idiots. An aspiring writer or actor who doesn't try to get to know other people will stay an aspiring something for ever. And a corset doesn't make people interesting - maybe unless they're male... ;-)

ah, it was kinda funny more than annoying...i mean, i got to leave the bar w/ my cool friends and laugh about how self-centered the people were, and they had to go home with themselves and be self-centered. i think i got the better end of that deal!

unfortunately, no men in corsets. but seriously, these corsets made the women's breasts SCARY WEIRD looking, like half-squished. it was strange.
