Losing a toenail is never easy
For about a month now, I've had an ingrown toenail in each of my big toes. I've been meaning to get them taken care of, because of soccer they were really starting to hurt, and I finally got around to scheduling an appointment about a week ago for yesterday. One season down, many to go
Had another soccer game tonight. It was the semifinals in our division. Yeah, yeah, I know it's silly to have playoffs in a recreational league, so shut it. We lost, but I scored a goal. I would have traded scoring the goal for a win, but oh well ( Read more... ) -
It's the the most hellish shopping time of the year
I need a pair of soccer turf shoes. The carpet at the sportsplex where I recently started playing for two teams is horrible, very slippery and almost treacherous. I'm currently wearing indoor soccer shoes, but I need to get turfs so I can actually play well ( Read more... ) -

Had a soccer game tonight. I beat three people, faked out the goalie, and scored the first goal of the game. I rule. That is all.

I'm officially a Soccer Glutton
Tonight I played two indoor soccer games, both for teams for whom I haven't played before. A woman on my regular indoor team asked me if I wanted to fill in because both teams needed an extra player tonight, and I agreed to play.
