They totally piss me off. Luckily my house is surrounded primarily by old people.. Confederate flags=lame.. and makes me want to blow up their cars. I saw some hideously painted firebird with a confederate flag painted on the trunk a few weeks ago... and one flying mounted on it... And yes, my parents are having a garage sale... I'm not involved in it really.

ah i see. the youngs were having one too since their dad(our neighbhor) john, died.
so apparently everyone is having garage sales.
yes. everyone hates them, inculding the youngs. they go by starbucks and honk their horn a bunch to their friends.
it makes me want to killl them.

Yeah, I find it strange that starbucks has become a hangout for hicks. You wouldn't think they'd chose a coffee shop.

i'm not sticking up for those ppl but sometimes when ppl have the confederate flag the mean rebellion not segregation..but yeah i still think its wrong. and i totally agree with you on dukes of hazzard. i was watching this interview and jessica simpson is like-yeah it was just the perfect part b/c i didnt have to act or try really hard. it was just easy.

at the same time, when they may mean rebellion, they are also symbolizing segregation. there are a lot of other symbols of rebellion.
