man wedding yesterday made us want kids soo stinking bad. there was some adorable kids. plus some old friends from freshman year of college who are now grown up, married, and have kids. i hope our future kids will be as adorable.
spend a little more time with them and you will be glad you've still some time without. Earlier this year I was wanting kids soooo bad, but we would never have been able to even consider buying a house if we had. Babies and kids are super adorable, and when we are ready I really am looking forward to it, but there is so much stuff we want to do before then. Kids requier 100% of your time, devotion and energy. I have gotten honest with myself and realized that I still want to be selfish with my time and with my husband. I watch my friends with kids cancel our plans cuz the baby's sick, or sit in the lobby at their favorite bands last show ever for the whole show becuase her 1 year old wont leave his ear plugs in and the music's too loud. You can't stay out late, you can't be spontaneous, you get way less sleep, trips are way more difficult, even just for the weekend. Our friends David and Karianne only live 45 minutes from us but packing up their two girls to make the visit is an ordeal. Only you guys can say when you are ready
