My first thought while watching an HBO film about addiction: the human race is far too activist to know the best way to go. This comes in conjunction with news about the failed "artificial reef" built from used tires off the coast of Florida. We can usually see problems before we know what role we should play in their solutions.

y'know what nobody talks about doing? grilling carrots. next time someone says "let's have some grilled corn" or "how about we grill some peppers with this" ... throw a couple of carrots in there, they'd feel more appreciated.
