the proper response when someone advertises wearing jeans once a week as a great aspect of a workplace is to ask if this is a dilbert cartoon that we are living in, right now

you are amazing

You might be surprised what "Business casual" actually translates to in a company. Ours is business casual and that doesn't seem to mean much more than no jeans for women. The women get away with a lot - from stripper heels to off-the-shoulder sweaters. Anything trendy pretty much goes.

one of them specifically mentioned blouses and skirts. when i go in i'll check out what people are wearing. none of my clothes are immodest, they are just weird.

I worked in a "business casual" atmosphere where certain individuals wore pajama pants and big, plaid slippers. They were at the questionable end of the spectrum, but still, you can get away with a lot! For women "business casual" usually just means no T-shirts, no jeans, no sweats, and no sneakers... so you might be able to make it work! Maybe wear a blouse and slacks every once in a while when there's an important meeting, but that's it!

the only reason i am worried is that the vast majority of my clothes are weird and/or creepy. i don't own anything immodest and i never wear jeans or sneakers, so i'm not too worried about that. . .

i think no one actually makes money from blogging . . . i think all those girls just live off their boyfriends. i mean, that's what i'm doing right now so it's not a criticism haha!

the really famous ones probably make a living off the opportunities that come along separate from blogging (rumi, susie). but at the lower end of "famous" and down i think most of the ones who appear to not have a day job are trust fund kids and their acne shoes are paid for by their parents.

but yes, i wish i could get free swag. i am always jealous when people get sent things like henry holland tights or anastasia radevich shoes.

I don't know who or what you are already following, those are just 3 that I like lately.

I also like this one a lot, though at least partially because I am super jealous cause he is like a 16-year-old kid in Saudi Arabia and I'm like, man I wish I knew how to find as much cool art stuff as he does RIGHT NOW, let alone 12 years ago when I was his age:
