 When I drove into Livermore this morning Linkin Park came up randomly on shuffle on my iPod. I smiled at that, the angst Nu Metal I listened to in middle school as the soundtrack to my hometown. This wet winter has left the hill vibrant and green. I still feel claustrophobic in Livermore, but I understand why someone would want to live here. I ( Read more... )

What about Livermore makes you feel claustrophobic? My perspective is narrowed by not having lived anywhere else for any appreciable time.

I never quite feel like I belong in Livermore. The politics and the pace don't match mine. There's not enough to for me to do, and I miss the ocean. I was always going other places when I lived here, trying to get out.

I used to live near Pasadena. It is very different than Santa Cruz, but I don't feel that either one is better. I hope you enjoy it!

I hope so too. Where did you live? I actually would prefer Altadena to be closer to Christian.
