it's taking a while to settle properly into university. been finding things pretty hard lately. i'm ill again, got an acute respiratory virus that's made my asthma go 'wah!' and i feel like shit. fainted in boots on thursday which was so fucking embarassing. it'll go away soon, got some antibiotics. been feeling pretty lonely too, it's not that i ( Read more... )

unfortunately the friends you make can make or break the whole college experience. for me it was the worse of the two options and i cannot graduate soon enough. there are few people i really "click" with and they are all at other schools. good luck, or at least better luck than me. university should definitely be more than feeling sorry for yourself all the time, believe me it gets tired, fast.

i'm sorry to hear that, i wish things were better for you. yeah it definitely should be. i think i'm just having a hard time cuz i'm ill and it's always hard to settle in to a new place anyway. i'm willing to give everything a chance, plus i realised that the post doesn't really do it justice, i am having a great time, i just wanted some closeness with people, the kind you get when you've known them for years, you know? i'm sure it'll come, i'm just impatient.

hows stuff going at uni? whitby sounded fun too, i might come next year if i have the money. saw some fireworks last night and was reminiscing bout the ace party you had last year.

oh right haha yeah HIM were superb. cathedral were pretty poop though.
yeah well i'm not a goth obviously but i'm into some of the music and stuff. after last year katie suggested i come cuz i'd really like it but this year i wasn't organised and couldn't afford it anyway.

dude i really love you loads. you really have been one of the best friends to me ever and i looking forward to scrambled eggs and star watching, obviously accompanied by useless 'philosphies' that i come out with and you laugh at =P and go 'tasha...' with that 'you're so silly' look on your face. good times innit.

yeah me too. but maybe we can do something tomorrow? i'm still pretty ill and couldn't go back today so i'm staying tonight and leaving sometime in the afternoon tomorrow. i could come to town early and we hang out for a while? really need a klarahug.

did u get tickets for the HIM halloween gig then? sorry i couldnt be of more help with them. Cathedral were bloody awful. i liked the first band tho, cant remember what they were called. did u see the maniac queuing? i was seriously pissed off at the security staff for not being better organised. we got there at 9.30 and people got there at 4 got in before us! grrr rant over.

we saw HIM on the 30th instead but it was awesome. yeah cathedral were poop but we got there near the end of their set anyways. didnt see the queue, we couldnt be arsed with it so left as late as possible. HIM fans are psychotically obsessed! shame he wasn't very well though.
