Do you really think so, or are you joking? Because most really good guides to Thanksgiving probably talk about pilgrims and religious persecution and Native Americans and things like that.

No, I'm serious. We don't have it back home, so I've been stuck trying to get a feel for it based on what other people around here say about it.

Oh! It's... I guess it's not something that any one person can explain. I think every family celebrates Thanksgiving differently from all of the others. Anyway, I always used to spend mine at the soup kitchen, so I can't say I'm an expert on traditional American Thanksgivings. I just know how they celebrate on TV.
