Rusty

Yesterday in the morning when I took Rusty out before work he seemed fine to me. He could walk & he went potty outside, he did both. When I got home from work & I went to Rusty's cage to let him out to go potty, I saw that he wasn't moving at all. He was just lying there. Rusty was still alive because you could see his chest rising up & down.

My deepest condolences to your loss... :( You've had him forever and this must be something very hard for you to cope. But I agree it was probably your only option and the best option for him. If he was suffering he is better off in heaven than here on earth. You'll always have the memories that you shared with a dog that lived to be almost 17, wow! Long life for a dog, you're very lucky! *hugs*
