So, I just realized that now that I own a horse, I can have him critiqued. I could really care less if something about him looks off since I love him to death, and he's perfect in my eyes! I am curious, though, as to what you all think...

I don't have any pictures of him standing square, so I'll just give you what I've got.

he's VERY cute. But it looks like he may be a bit over at the knee, or it could just be the photo & the fact he has a lot of knee action due to your seat etc etc. Try sitting back more when you ride, if you notice he's really down hill in the last photo & it looks like he's trying to compensate for you leaning on his shoulders. His meck may be a little short, but I think it's just the photo. Very cute little Appendix!

Hehe, thank you. He's such a sweetheart. I love him to death! When you say a bit over at the knee, does that mean that he puts more weight on his front end? Hehe, I was wearing jeans that day (I feel naked without my chaps), and my leg kept slipping back, so I was leaning forward A LOT.

I can see what you mean that his neck is a little short. I'm not sure if that is the picture or him. Hehe, I'll have to look today when I have my lesson!
