Just got a call. My strep throat culture came back negative. This means I have tonsilitis. Whooooo. -

So my tongue is so swollen, my lips are so chapped, and the gums behind my teeth are bleeding so badly that my doctor says I can't play my flute for a week. Normally, I'd just shrug it off, but Region auditions are Friday. Friday. *dies* I missed Region Orchestra Auditions because I was out of town and now I can't even go to region band. Ok. The Kati feels much much better as far as the strep goes(I want a tee shirt that says, "I <3 Penicillin" with a picture of moldy bread), but the cold sores are so, so bad. The medicine she gave me isn't helping at all. I can barely swallow water it hurts so bad. *dead* I slept all day long today. Ugh. I wonder if I can go into work ( Read more... ) -
