no no! you are not a black hole sucking up everything in sight (or are you you SF???). I feel like it's worse to lose something than to have it destroyed. Like if I had dropped your earring in front of a moving subway, that would be better because then it's like woops oh well nothing I can do. Losing something is like...it's somewhere in the world, you just can't find it, which is about one thousand times worse!
