I truely enjoy everything you have posted. Though we have friended each other already I do not want to be locked out ever. I haven't been commenting much lately. School is back in session as of Wednesday and I am just pooped out, no energy left. I hate that you even heve to consider the f-lock. ut please allow me the pleasure of your creations, they mean much.

Rest assured. I'm not kicking anybody out.

Glad you're getting back into the swing of school, even if it does sound like it's eating up your free time. Hope you catch some rest soon. Thank you for the sweet words.

If you decide to lock your friends list I'd like to be kept on it. :)

1. Like music? How am I supposed to choose? Julie Andrews, Celine Dion, Reba McEntire, Erin McCarley, Josh Groban... okay. The list is effing long. lol

2. UUUh it's all over the place. I don't even know what most of it falls under other than fiction. Not so much fantasy though I do like my Harry Potter. I read whatever sounds good.

3. Couldn't help you with this one. :S

Well, everybody's definitely going to be grandfathered in. Though I am trying to be bit more cautious about my adds recently. :)

Thanks for sharing. I did enjoy reading your artist and book preferences. Can you ever go wrong with a little Julie Andrews?

As if...

Oh, thanks for sharing with me. For Christmas this year I received a book on Ansel Adams and Georgia O'Keeffe, with side-by-side comparisons of their artwork and accompanying essays on their friendship. I absolutely love Ansel Adams now.

Do you actually read these travel books? Or just lust over the pictures? :P

Thank you for the recs. I have read Hungry. But, I have to read the Addie & Mer one simply for the title alone. Hilarious!

For photography you might also check out Peter Lik. I have his Maui Book... I love it, then again I loved Maui and want to go back.

Travel books, well they are the true fiction kind not the picture kind :)

Check out my fave. On Mexican Time by Tony Cohan

Hey, I´m assuming the friend thing isn't directed at the friends you already have but if its is and your planning on cleaning house please keep me, I love your fics despite my little moan about Merica :-/

1.Favorite artist- I´m never good at choosing favorites so off the top of my head..Patti Smith, Tracey Emin, Eve Arnold, Al Green, Maria Mckee, Picaso, Janet Winterson, David Lynch, Michael Man

2) Genre you read the most- Well that would be smut, I like to mix it up with a bit of angst but mostly smut..or angsty smut..you get the idea.

3) I doubt I could suggest anything you haven't read, the only thing I can think of are these 2 little one shots both quite lovely but also both Callica so its more of a question if you want to read them rather that need too. Here they are anyway.. http://myshadeofgreys.blogspot.com/search/label/One%20shots

Aww man, how did I not even think about the directors? Or writers? It's probably a good thing, I'd have gone on for days, but *high five* on David Lynch! That man is a complete genius; insane, but a genius. So creative. Mulholland Drive is such a complete head f*ck. So I come over here to be nosy and end up on a mission to watch that film again. Thank you!

Don't worry, if you're in - you're in. And I actually like your little "moan" about Merica. You make me smile. *wink*

Diverse artists list. I like. And Al Green...I mean, who couldn't love?

Thanks for sharing with me!

'friend' debate' hectic1 July 24 2009, 12:44:30 UTC
So, I'm going through my little friend list thingie on LJ, trying to decide if I'm going to bite the bullet and 'friend' people. I don't know why I haven't up until now. I guess I really haven't had a crazy amount of time to poke around in other people's business and, honestly, I don't care what most people have to say. Anyway, I thought, well if I'm going to friend anyone it might as well be H4H, since she's one of the few I can count on to have something interesting to say or read. And, apparently, it's a good thing I did because you're getting all picky and choosy with your friends list. I know, it's hard to be so popular. ;)) The Queen's time is always in demand, huh? Anyway, I'm here to give you the head's up that I'm going to 'friend' you. I hate that term on LJ, by the way. 'Friend' implies too much. Maybe I'll go to my dreamwidth site and rail about social networking sites later today ( ... )

I can agree with you that 'Friend' is not the best term. I prefer the pejorative, 'add you'. But, we be buddies of a sort I think. Like minds in a few respects and all.

Thanks for the more detailed artist info. I certainly left it open-ended. I assign the artist moniker to a great number of endeavors.

And I have one rec if you're interested. It's off canon a bit, but a fun little chaste piece:

(One More Saturday Night) Callie/Erica/Addison - friendship
