Oh, it's too late...you're already in. No hope of escape now. *wink*

And country how did I know? *smile* But, I've really been digging on Regina Spektor myself lately and A Fine Frenzy. Chick music FTW.

You have diverse tastes in music and lit. Cool. Like you, I usually have a few books going at one time. Too easily distracted.

Thanks for the rec and I'll be sure to check that one out. The title sounds promising.

I would love to be on your friend list! I don't ever post anything but I do love to read all your posts. So if its possible I would love to still be on your list-even if its just to be able to read your fics! Thanks!
Ok on to the questions.
1) My taste is all over the place-Gomez, Wynonna, Neil Diamond, Erin McCarley but my all time favorite artist is Bette Midler.
2)I love to read so this is hard. Mystery, biography, fiction-my favorites are Bleak House by Charles Dickens and The Anne of Green Gables series. Right now I am reading Mrs Lincoln by Catherine Clinton and The Last Dickens by Matthew Pearl.
3)I am sure you have read it but one I go back and read often is The Dance of Deception

You're so sweet. Thank you. And I'm not locking anybody out so you're staying on the list. *wink*

Finally, a fellow Neil Diamond-ite. I saw him about 10 years ago and it was amazing. I'm such a sucker for his music.

I like your fic tastes. I'll have to look up that Mrs. Linclon.

I agree about the Dance of Deception, definitely a great piece. Thanks for reminding me. I haven't re-read that one. Needs to go into Memories. :)

I don't know if you're going to be deleting, too, so here goes...

1) I'm thinking you mean art art, not music, so Norman Rockwell. I actually have a painting of his in my room...Lincoln For The Defense. The painting, for those who don't know it, depicts Lincoln proving a man innocent by knowing the angle of the freakin' moon. (Eye witness accounts said the moon was high in the sky, giving enough illumination to see the man's face. He proved that it wasn't.)

Moral of the story is...don't mess with Lincoln. He's just too badass.

2)I don't really know what the sub-categories of fiction are, so I'm just going to say fiction. Although, I am about to venture into the world on non-fiction, and read a compilation of love letters and then a sociology book about masculinity in high school.

3) My mind is blank, sorry.

No, I'm not deleting. :) But, thank you for indulging my curiosity.

I'd never seen that Rockwell. But, after googling it and your back-story, it's very intriguing. Thank you for that!

Masculinity in High School? I wonder if there could be a more complex subject. :P Those teenage hormones are all over the map. *smile*

Thank you again! Hope you're having a good week.

Thanks for the layout compliment. Time to spruce up a little bit. *smile*

Joy Division? My colleague and I were just talking about them today, oddly enough. New Wave makes me all nostalgic.

I'm so behind on my fic reading. And obviously you're not gonna help me out. :P

But, thanks for quelling a little of my curiosity.

I'd love to be included on your friends list also. You capture the all characters personalities so dead on, its amazing.

1. Music: Mary Chapin Carpenter, Dixie Chicks, Beatles, Alison Krauss
Art: Raphael, Louis Comfort Tiffany

2. I read mostly fiction and mystery: my favorite author is Jodi Picoult, she writes the some of the best books I've ever read.
