Sarah no one has the right to hate you for it. You are entitled to your own views and opinions. And anyway, if someone hates you for an opinion you have on one thing, what does that say about THEIR character?
On another note, if I was a guy, my reply to this post would be -
can i just ask..._brand_new_girlNovember 4 2004, 02:55:57 UTC
why/how you could like someone who has sent so many people to die in a war that was started with the wrong intentions? not just americans but so many countries all over the world have to fight in Iraq to keep Bush happy so he wont severe ties with them? why/how could you like someone that has lied so much? why/how you could like someone who sat there for over 5 minutes reading a story to children even after he was informed of the tragedy of 9/11 until he was told that he had to do something? why/how could you like someone who was analysed as having an intelligence level BELOW the average person but is one of the most powerful people in the world? i dont hate you for you opinion because no-one should be hated for what they think but i just dont understand it...

I honestly doubt bush would have made all of the decisions he did without being completely justified in his self. Why would he have made a decision if he KNEW it was going to ruin his chance to be a world leader again. obviously it didnt
did you know that not once when America has been involved in a war have they elected a new president... im pretty sure he knew that it wouldnt harm his opportunity to be president again...
america is scared of change especially during a war and thats all there is to it... and thats a sad fact because im pretty damn sure they'd be alot better off with someone else running there country...
i personally dont feel safe with so much of the world being controlled by a president who cant even pronounce the word "nuclear"...
"did you know that not once when America has been involved in a war have they elected a new president... im pretty sure he knew that it wouldnt harm his opportunity to be president again..."
on a stupid note a mare had never won the Melbourne Cup and managed to. Nothing is certain. Bush shouldn't haven't been, and justifibly wasn't, certain he would retain his postion as president.
And oh my gosh, somebody used the same argument on Sunrise this morning that he couldn't pronounce the word nuclear. So what? Doesn't mean he doesn't know what it is (although he doesn't seem to know where to locate nuclear weapons)
Peace out, I guess this is what democricy is all about. freedom of speech.
The matter of the situation isn't to like him or not. It's understanding what our country would be like with Kerry running it; which would be much worse than what Bush intends for our country. Stop analyzing just him.. and see the big picture.
This isn't for you Sarah.. it's for the person above who wants all these questions answered as if somehow your response will change their opinion and the truth is that it won't; they are far too into their own views and opinions to even read what you reply with anything but what they think in their head.
and would you like to explain why i sound like a "complete fuckwit"?
and i am not just speaking about the war... bush is against things that i personally support... he was anti abortion and im pro choice. hes against gay marriages and im not... im not saying its all about the war its just that the war happens to be one of the main areas that was focused on in the american election and it factors into all our lives even in Australia...
oh, and one last thing...
i said i was pretty damn sure once in that post...
i agreee with brad_new_girl. i dont like bush, and i cant see how anyone can like him. but hey...each to their own! and NO ONE should hate you for your opinion :)
