So, it looks as though the Ricky thing is going ahead - despite all the smokescreening, and the delays, and everything; the photos of his medical seem pretty conclusive. I know. It's absolutely INFURIATING, isn't it? I mean, I hate that this is happening, but at least if we knew they would bring someone in it could soften the blow a little. It fucking stinks, if you'll pardon my French.

I see this has been such a disaster that even Obama had to make an appearance.

Jokes aside, I was hoping I'd be past caring for individuals instead of the collective Milan by this point, but this and this just break my heart all over again.

That. That's what I feel most awful about; the fact that he never got the chance to say goodbye properly. He should have had a proper send off, a thank you, a farewell-and-go-in-peace. Not this hole-in-corner, shady bollocks. That's just wrong. :(

*sigh* I think they'll show the press conference on TV here. I'm trying to get ready for what I know that will happen (even if I still have hopes and won't believe anything he doesn't say himself).
