Huh. You know, I don't consider any of the above anywhere near as nerdy as, say, putting together a CD of self-made videogame music remixes or covers.

Weird Al?

Granted, he's all over the map, but several of his recent parodies are definitely quite nerdy.

The Arrogant Worms. They were from a while ago, but hilarious, and nerdy.

Ooh, I think I'll have to seriously look this group up. "Carrot Juice is Murder" sounds especially promising. Thank you!

Arrogant Worms rule, but Captain Tractor is even cooler.

I recommend Monkey vs. Robot, by James Kochalka Superstar. (example here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_QsCXm1vrk )

And no Nerd music compilation is complete without some work by the Laziest Men on Mars (e.g., All Your Base, Daikatana Porn Remix, or the one about the Pusher and Shover Robots).

A lot of people have heard Invasion of the Gabber Robots, but far fewer have heard the Daikatana Porn Remix. Nice! I can't believe I can still rattle off the overwhelming majority of that from memory.

MC Frontalot? Prefer his stuff to MC Chris at any rate...

Funny you should mention him, I just ordered his CDs the other day on someone else's suggestion. mc chris is pretty good, but there's enough drug references on his CDs to make me uncomfortable.

You might want to try Beatnik Turtle. They're a band from Chicago who do a song a day post at their website. Some of the songs could definitely be nerdy, haha.
hope this helped!
