Do you think it's odd for a female to wear glasses her whole life instead of contacts? It seems so very few people these days go the glasses route. I was told by my optometrist today that he thinks I will never ever tolerate contacts and must accept that. After all the trauma to my eyes over the years they are severely out of shape and both my eyes

Glasses are sexah. My mom wears glasses when she isn't working (contacts seem to work better in that environment, although I don't want to imagine what would happen if one fell off into some guys intestines....) so not everyone forgoes glasses for contacts (of course I don't know if my mom is such a great example for teh sexy). My dad's new wife is actually missing part of her cornea and you can imagine how awesome that is for her. My last writing Prof. (who, I don't know if I told you, looked a lot like you) wore glasses all the time. If I got off my ass and made an appointment I'd be wearing glasses and not contacts because glasses are so much COOLER! (Of course, I won't have to wear them all the time

Thanks for the encouragement! I know not everyone wears contacts, but with lenses like mine my glasses just seem to distort the way I look and I hate that. Ah well!

And wow...well, thank you for everything else you had to say, too! That is so humbling to me, and I mean that. I really really appreciate it. I know in the end I have to pick my own self up in order to get through things in life, but it certainly helps when I get support to, and it means a lot coming from you.
