OMG! I am not sure what I find the most amazing...the idea of noodling, the fact that it is called noodling, or the size of those freaking fish. Those fish are IN lakes? Like where people swim and stuff? Well now I can justify my fear of swimming in lakes. I explain my ocean fear with sharks. I am scared to death of sharks, and I don't care if I am in ankle deep water. Now I can say that I am scared to death of 500 pound fish that swim in lakes. OMG!

Noodling...why the hell is it called noodling? And how do they remove these fish from their fists to get them in the net? I would be high stepping around the lake, screaming bloody-murder, with a fish attached to my arm!

BTW...I noticed that your journal is not friend's only or at least this post is not. Do you mind if I link this post up to my journal? I feel the need to educate those on my FL about noodling. I cannot fathom not sharing this information with my inner circle. The possible nightmares I could create.....

I was sent here by annieandgavin, to be educated. LOL...this is INSANE. And those fish are scary, as are the people who would do this. EEP!

I used to work for the museum of natural history in Cincinnati and they actually went diving once to look for 6 foot plus catfish. It's not that I mind that they're down there, I just don't want to FIND one.

So now I'm thinking I should friend you. Do you mind if I do? Anyone that would post about noodling and a friend named Big Head...
