despite the lack of motivation you do sound like you're having more fun? Sukhothai sounds lovely, i like the idea of peaceful. and what's the name of the hostel in chiang mai, we may have need of it soon enough.

also: it looks like we're going to a full moon party on feb 22, if you're near there then and fancy coming along then give us a shout. there'll be about 10 of us kicking around i think, argh!

Hostel is Spicy Thai Backpackers. They have a sucky .com that makes you book through hostelworld, but you can just phone them up. They'll also come pick you up if the traffic isn't too nasty. They're pricy for what it is (you can get private rooms for cheaper than your bed in a ten bed dorm) but you'll meet lots of people, and they organise cool trips and excursions.

Full moon party: I'll be gone by then! Bummer!

PS. Possibly having more fun, yes. Philosophy rejig has helped. More philosophy soon!

I can smell the slightest hint of motivation on the wind... it could be returning... But I'm still more interested in the quality of bakery goods in a town than any sights it might hold. Bakery tour of South East Asia 07/08!
