I may not have come out of yesterday's incident quite as unharmed as I thought. I found another scrape today on my other arm, which does hurt, and the one on my back is tender. It's not that there's no one to talk to. I do have one friend here that I can be very open with and enjoy talking to about just about anything. She was busy all weekend, which put the icing on the cake for a rotten weekend. Everyone was too busy, it seemed. Not having a car here is much worse than it was in VA. Things have been going pretty well. School's started again, which is good. It gives me something to concentrate on. It's going to be tiring, I can tell already, but worth it. It makes me sad.
