I graduate Sunday. These are some of the folks I'll miss. It's been a rather long ride, my friends, and I'm looking back at the years with the same kind of nostalgia that grips old people when they tell stories about war. Is it safe to say that college is the new high school? That unless you go to college, you'd be hard pressed to find a job, as most of the jobs that used to be filled by high school graduates back in the day no longer exist given that the US doesn't really do manufacturing anymore? My love affair with the taco
It doesn't matter where I go. Since I'm not a foodie purist- though I will pine for real Taiwanese food (a lot)- I don't often insist on pure, honest to goodness Asian food. 1) Dodger beat Padres 3-2 thanks to Hu driving in Martin in the ninth. YAY! I must say, as much as I appreciate Jeff Kent, I'm really excited to see Hu get some major playing time and kicking some butt.
