I've finally put up a non-trivial post at my new math blog. It's about the research I've been doing this summer. Not the most accessible thing I've ever written but I swear I'll put up way more readable things in the (near-ish) future.
Texas is a whole lot of what I expected. Houston is big and full of cars. It' not as hot as it could be thanks to the rain. I think it may be the first time in 3 years I've been truly happy that it is raining all the time

I like theoretical physicists because they are lazy like me. Maybe lazy isn't quite what I mean. It's more that they don't like to be told what to do. The phd means no one tells you what to do anymore, right? Boss becomes a loose term
