There is an example of a fairly obvious sequence in L^2 that when you apply the Gram-Schmidt process to you get the Legendre Polynomials. I'm on my way to Ticino (Tessin in German) for a few days. It's the italian speaking canton of Switzerland. It's suppoed to be extremly beautiful and warm. I'm pretty excited about getting out of the mountains for a little while. Altritude does wierd things.

The past few days I've been hanging out with Reedies in Munich. Europa back this morning from her trip to Venice. So fucking awesome. I've been having a blast seeing people, drinking beer, and watching football. Maybe one day I'll post pictures but that may be asking a lot. Fuck it. Bed time.
