KIndra's learner's permit

So Kindra's learner's permit expired on Friday. We tried to renew it at the end of May, when she took her first driver's test. They told us at that time that she had to wait until she was within 5 days of its expiration.

OK, so on Sunday when I realized her permit had expired, we decided to take care of it first thing Monday.

huh? do you actually have to DO something for a licensee to go from provisional to permanent? I never had a provisional one... but I'd assume it just happened automatically.

Apparently. The last lady we saw at the MVA made a comment about it. She might have been joking, but I thought it was serious.

MVA website says no need to show for provisional -> full driver's license, which is how I remember it. They send you a paper card in the mail. However, to get the provisional, Kindra needs to pass the driving test. Good luck to both of you on the 5th! What part of the test seems to be giving her problems?

Take a wild guess.

Parallel parking. She has it down pat. But not with the tester.
