So far, shipping the Quilt to the set seems to be the most popular option. As I mentioned when we started the Project, I'd like to give folks the opportunity to contribute toward the shipping and assembly costs. Behold, the pieced quilt!

If you can see the white threads running through the blue sashing, that's where I basted together the layers of the quilt.  I'll be taking those out after I do the actual quilting.

We're still waiting for two additional squares (should be arriving this week) to fill in the empty spots, but the rest of the quilt has been pieced.  See pics below the cut.

Two Things about the Quilt Project ( Read more... )

I've found out that I suck at planning, measuring, lay outs and cutting squares. *sigh*

Oh well, I'm happy with how they turned out anyway. I didn't even have any freakin' material in the house, so I cut up a pillowcase!

Both squares are t-shirt transfers that I printed from some of my art. (  squares ahoy!>

Well, I began my square on Monday and finished on Wednesday, and sent it off like a good little House fan!

I'd like to get an idea of how many quilt squares I should expect to get--I'm wondering how much time to plan on for piecing and quilting.
