Golly, lately my life has been a bunch of experiments.
One time Liss and I went into a massive warehouse garage sale and swept entire tables of cookbooks into our boxes.
Another time there was this really unflattering picture of me in everyone's Livejournal?!
This other time I was reading a novel by Charlotte Perkins Gilman.

Last night I stayed in and made gingerbread cake for all the children.

Today I found a recipe in one of my grandma's cookbooks for grilled jellyfish.

It feels so good outside.

I want to learn to sew well.

I want to have another eating party.

Is the movie Martha: Behind Bars out on tape?

I miss Lexi.

Today I went out in the backyard to read and my duck came over and quacked like she wanted to be picked up and then fell asleep on my shoulder while I was reading.

I guess it's kind of sad that that's a pretty good picture of what my life is like these days. I guess it's even sadder that I'm really enjoying myself.

All right, Davey:

1. Make a Vegan Imposter of chicken-fried steak.

2. Become chicken-fraud steak famous.

3. Everyone refers to "mary's famous chicken-fraud steak".

On a different note, yesterday was mine and Owen's anniversiary.

There's a giant cluster of poultry all along my street, and I'm not sure where. Every morning this rooster crows right as it starts to get light outside.

I really like Garza. I miss a handful of people, but I really like Garza.

So, who else needs a job?

So I live off of South Congress now.

Yesterday at school I stepped on some freshman's toe and he yelled "FAGGOTTTTTT!!!" at me and then, surprise, I'm not a dude!

Also my favorite class is being Mr. Snyder's aid during his off-period because I don't have to do anything.
